In my demonstrations I prefer to show that ‘something else’ to the art group according to their interests and degree of competence. In my workshops I would like to see everyone’s individual expression and interests, upon which I base my teaching, avoiding repetitive ‘do-as-I-do’ tuition.
Most of all I believe in enjoying art and that is what I demonstrate. I also organise painting holidays in Greece where we experience drawing and painting outdoors under the Mediterranean light. “Say it with Colour” is an art course designed for adults and older teenagers and it focuses on painting with acrylic and oil colours. It is mainly a practical course where teaching is centered round your own individual need for expression. Appropriate aspects of colour theory and art history will be discussed as they arise during classes. |
